Competitions Calendar 2026-27 Revealed
There are 23 National Championships and domestic competitions planned for the year ahead, spread across a huge variety of waters with a flagship event for all anglers.
As you can see, our events calendar has swelled again for 2026 with the addition of the British Carp Angling Championships – the largest and most prestigious event in carp fishing which we took over the organisation of in September.
Our two flagship shore fishing competitions – Sea League and Shore Teams of Five – will also run again in 2026 and will be hotly contested as usual.
An exciting series of domestic game fishing events and dates for hosting of Home Internationals in sea and game are yet to be confirmed but will be added to the table once they are in place, as will final confirmation of events for our 40-plus England teams flying the flag all over the World.
Over 20 different fisheries will provide the sport for our competitions in 2026 and we’re grateful for the support shown by fishery owners, clubs, and local organisers for their input (and juggling skills!) into what will be a busy year of matches.
Our Nationals continue to be the largest events of their kind in the country, and we’re delighted to be able to offer a mixture of natural waters and commercial fisheries for these Blue Riband events.
Finding venues and dates to suit all has been an almost impossible task, and some of the ‘traditional’ dates of events have been switched due to venue and HQ availability and at the request of host clubs and fisheries.
Added to the Nationals and big finals will be the many qualifiers for FishOMania, RiverFest, SilverFish, British Carp Angling Champs, Free Spirit Boddington Classic, and SuperCup which will be announced in due course.
We’re delighted to be partnering again with Matchroom Sport in delivering the amazing FishOMania event again in 2026, and also with Team England’s official bait supplier, Sensas, on the hugely popular International Challenge.
In terms of international qualification, as in previous years the winners of the Division 1 National and Sensas Challenge will be eligible for an invite to compete in the FIPSed World Club Championships (Float) while the top two teams in the Feeder National will earn places at the FIPSed World Club Champs for Feeder anglers.
We look forward to seeing you on the bank in 2026.
