Reactivate a lapsed licence
Information for coaches wanting to reactivate a lapsed licence
Please contact Licensing Admin so that we can establish whether we still have access to any records for you. If your licence expired some time ago we will have deleted all but forename, surname, licence number and the latest licence expiry date, so we would need to process your application in the same way as a completely new one.
Items of information that would be helpful in locating any remaining details of a lapsed licence are your name, date of birth, and the approximate year when you were awarded your qualification, plus your angling discipline (Coarse, Game or Sea) if it was a Level 2 licence.
Requirements for a Level 1 licence:
► Undertake an appropriate Enhanced DBS check, which we will arrange for you;
► Provide a photocopy or digital image of your 1st4sport Level 1 qualification certificate if we can’t access a previous record;
► Provide a photograph for your ID card if we no longer have one on file, or if you wish to supply a different one;
► Arrange payment of the £35 annual licence fee by one of the available methods.
Requirements for a Level 2 licence:
► Undertake an appropriate Enhanced DBS check, which we will arrange for you;
► Provide a photocopy or digital image of your 1st4sport Level 1 qualification certificate if we can’t access a previous record;
► Provide evidence of current First Aid training which meets or exceeds the stated criteria: [Click here] for details;
