England call-up for talented Under 25s coarse anglers

The England Management team of Mark Downes and Darren Bickerton are looking for talented coarse anglers who would like to apply for the England U25s team. 

The 13th FIPSed U25s Youth World Championships are due to be staged in Szolnok, Hungary from 8th-9th August 2020 and a team is required to represent the Angling Trust and England for the under 25s. 

This will be a fish catching event with each angler looking to catch upwards of 200 fish per session, skimmers, bream and catfish will be the predominate species.  

How to apply 

Anyone wishing to apply and interested in helping England get amongst the medals this year must complete an England youth assessment form by contacting Sandra Johnson on email; Sandra.johnson@anglingtrust.net or tel; 0115 822 4519.  

Please remember to submit your last 2 years of results record and complete the form in full and return by the deadline date to the Angling Trust. It is a requirement that each angler is also an individual member of the Angling Trust and must be 24 years of age or under on 31st December 2019.  

Completed forms must be returned by no later than 15th March 2020.
