Virtual Fisheries Forum | Fishing Licence Sales and Marketing Our Sport

1 December 2021 7:00 PM - 1 December 2021 8:15 PM
Open to all

At this next Virtual Fisheries Forum, we welcome the Environment Agency’s Steve Chambers for an update on licence sales, followed by a talk from Angling Trust participation staff on what we’re doing to arrest the long term decline.

An Environment Agency fishing licence is a legal requirement for all forms of freshwater angling in England and Wales. The money generated from the sale of these licences is ploughed back into fisheries and angling in a variety of ways.

This event offers a great opportunity to learn more about licence sales and the national efforts to get more people fishing. It is free to attend and open to all, and we encourage you to notify any fishing friends or colleagues who may find this session useful.

Wednesday 1st December 2021

Virtual Fisheries Forums follow a simple format, with talks from our guest speakers, before an open Q&A session, where your questions will be answered. Using the Q&A function on Zoom, you will be able to raise questions at any time. We are also happy to take questions in advance of the meeting.
