Virtual Fisheries Forum | Keeping Your Otter Fence Effective

26 January 2022 7:00 PM - 26 January 2022 8:30 PM
Open to all

Otter fences are one of the most costly projects which a club or fishery could undertake, making it vital they function as intended. Even with a regular maintenance regime, damage and weak points can often be overlooked, resulting in the potential for otters to enter a fenced fishery and threaten valuable stock.

In this follow-up session to last year’s Virtual Forum, Richard Bamforth (Angling Trust FMA) will highlight some of the key ways in which otters can enter a fenced fishery, and offer advice on how to prevent this in future.

This session is recommended for anyone who operates a fenced fishery, or is considering taking on such a project in future.  It is free to attend and open to all.
