Virtual Fisheries Forum | Managing Cormorant Predation

17 November 2021 7:00 PM - 17 November 2021 8:15 PM
Open to all

In our next Virtual Fisheries Forum, we welcome Jake Davoile and Richard Bamforth for a talk on the practical measures clubs and fisheries can employ to manage cormorant predation.

As full time Fisheries Management Advisors funded by fishing licence income, Jake and Richard’s services are available free of charge.  They can assist clubs or fisheries with a range of areas, including:

  • Licence applications
  • Deterrence tactics
  • Fish refuges

The FMAs also advise on how to protect fisheries from otter predation, including fencing. Read more about their work by clicking HERE

This event offers an excellent opportunity for fishery managers to learn more about the services of Angling Trust FMAs, and what can be done to successfully manage cormorant predation. It is free to attend and open to all, and we encourage you to notify any fishing friends or colleagues who may find this session useful.
