Virtual Fisheries Forum | Stocking Regulations & Best Practice
In this Virtual Fisheries Forum, we welcome the Environment Agency’s Paul Lidgett for a detailed look at what angling clubs and fisheries should be aware of when stocking fish.
Although stocking can be one of the most interesting and exciting parts of managing a water, there are a number of important areas to consider; from obtaining the appropriate permits, through to risks associated with invasive non-native species and disease. This session will seek to clarify these areas, with the aim of helping fishery managers make informed decisions.
This Fisheries Forum is recommended for angling clubs, fisheries and syndicates with an interest in stocking their waters. It is free to attend and open to all.
